OSTEOPATHY

Osteopathy is a hands-on therapy that focuses on treating the body as a whole.

SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports massage is a form of deep tissue massage that helps alleviate muscle soreness. Sports massage focuses on preventing and treating injuries, reducing muscle tension and improving overall performance.

Whether you are training for a marathon, hitting the gym or simply dealing with muscle tightness from day to day activities, sports massage can help you feel and move better.

Each session will be tailored to your needs, ensuring you get the most out of every treatment.

DRY NEEDLING

Dry needling is a treatment that uses very thin needles to target tight or painful areas in your muscles, known as ‘trigger points’.

Unlike acupuncture, which is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, dry needling is a modern technique that focuses on relieving muscle tension and reducing pain.

ULTRASOUND THERAPY

Ultrasound therapy is a safe and painless treatment used to relieve pain, reduce swelling and support the body’s natural healing process. It uses sound waves that gently penetrate your muscles and tissues to promote healing deep within your body.

While you won’t feel or hear these sound waves, they work beneath the surface to reduce discomfort and improve recovery. Sometimes you may feel some heat during the treatment.

Ultrasound therapy is often combined with osteopathy treatments for the best results. We will customise the treatment to meet your specific needs, helping you get back to feeling your best.

Meet the Therapist – Lisa Knapp

Lisa is a qualified Osteopath and Sports Massage Therapist.

She has a particular interest in treating those with sports injuries following an ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair that occurred during a Tough Mudder run.

When she is not in clinic, she can usually be found in the CrossFit Cassiobury gym and loves Olympic Weightlifting.

Her mission is to help athletes move better, improving their mobility and ultimately their performance.
